sometimes,it is not you but what you sold and whom you sold it to. and what form of payment they used.
Sometimes we sellers do not realise it is not so simple to collect funds from countries all over the world

I understand there are many more risk assessment criteria there. Fraudsters are constantly on the lookout and are giving eBay no peace. eBay is making its security algorithms more complex.

Currently, the most important topic is how to become a seller and avoid getting permanently banned immediately or shortly after starting sales.

For business EU acc, I must meet these four conditions simultaneously:
- have 25-30 sales
- have no shipping or delivery delays
- have no disputes
- tracking shows "delivered" to the right zip code
Positive or negative feedback does not seem to affect the date the funds are released.
Once the 25th sale is reached, all subsequent sales with a value within the average of the first 25 will have the funds released as soon as the tracking indicates "delivered".

I personally believe the holds are made for ebay to make money on your money with interest or stock value.
I did sell higher valued goods, but they were shipped/delivered within 2 working days with positive feedback.
Ebay still insist on retaining the funds for 15 days from point of delivery.
If the customer displays they satisfied & proof of delivery of the goods have been confirmed, why else would they need to hold the funds for over 2 weeks other than accumulate interest for their own private monetary gains, just like banks do..

(1)It could take days for Ebay tor receive your fund, some may use bank account, some use debit card, some use credit card, some are local, some are foreign, you as seller do not see their form of payment, certain cc and banks take time to collect.
(2)customers may leave feedback, but they can also change their mind and want to return, sometimes when they are using a fraudulent gift card ,it could take days or weeks before Ebay finds out.
Say,I stole your cc data and buy gift cards and sell them to your customers, they use it to buy from you, then at the end of the month the cc owner receive his cc statement and find out someone has stolen his card data and use it to buy gift cards for resale and file chargeback with his cc issuer.it could take weeks or even month to have it resolved .
You said you are selling high end items, how high is high?
are your buyers local or foreign and how foreign?eUROPE,America,Latin America,Nigeria??
if you have agood track record, why not speak to Ebay customer service, ask to speak to a supervisor or manager
Have you ever have a problem ?if so,it could set you back/
This is what happens at AMZN last year, even AMZN does not trust its own gift cards !

Not all countries have the same rule on credit cards, someone said there is no such thing as chargeback in S Africa.
Some countries in Africa, their MC/VISA are different than rest of the world, cant recall the details?
Some countries give you 12 months, not 6 months to file chargeback.
As for bank fund,Paypal often bitch how hard it is to access EAST European banks?
MP may be better,dunno.

I am in US,so I dont know how MP handles Eastern European banks?
(exception, once I saw a listing of gold builion $100,000 per order on Ebay, and the seller does not use MP,wiretransfer only).
I recall Paypal solves its problem by going thru VISA Europe, but has to pay them a fee,)
