yep i saw people speculating it happens with new accs, nope its when an acc is flagged or when you sell high valued products that they deem as "risky"

what do you mean by something is flagged??

Have you actually seen any evidence that "your guy" has passed this verification using f@ke documents?

I doubt it was anything to do with IP. The Veriff software being used by Ebay can pick off f@ke documents with nearly a 100% success rate.

Yes, changing IPs is never a good idea during these sensitive processes, as we know it's mostly automated..

If you have a sudden increase in seller activity (value or higher risk goods or quantity sold) it prompts the selfie request.

IP change usually doesn't prompt this, perhaps a change in bank accounts may also prompt this verification step.

Wouldn't make a difference either way. If change comes it would come either way.

Now with AI advancements everything is progressing at an exponential rate.

That’s some delusional thinking it’s up to them totally

If they want they will make the selfie part so hard that you won’t pass it with any tool and it’s not hard to do so , just need to apply same system as some high security banks do for example saying stuff in real time etc

It’s bad and there’s no advantages to it
