How do I accept payment on this account??
 

I set up a stealth account on ebay so unless I use paypal I might as well not bother to sell anything right? its what I am getting by reading all these forums. I cant exactly ask for a check when emails from ebay to the buyer are going to have the wrong name on it. SO now what?

All these Kings everywhere...... hmmmm. My Bday entiteled to think what I want.. Hope so.. ? So now ..what?

I don't think Ebay allows checks any more, only electronic payments. For selling in certain categories, you must have PayPal and it's PayPal only, for others you may use other methods of electronic payments as per Ebay.

OP put your flag up...ebay sites are different in terms of payment options, but yes generally you need paypal - well you at least need to set it up and link it, after that you could accept payments in other ways etc..

what is your exact problem with having paypal, lack of bank?

The problem is the ssn they will soon request. It is my understanding as soon as you hit $500 they will request it.

so its ssn.......no its nothing to do with $500, but it does get requested...their are a few methods to tweak isue of ssn, but I doubt anyone will tell you unless you are a subscribed member and via pm...

why dont you buy/make a Canada account, if you dont want this issue..

Im not an expert on US ssn, all I know is that its not talked about on open forum, we worry about loopholes getting patched..it could be a problem, being a subscribed member is an extra barrier against any spy tactics..though of course we all know they walk among us....
