New Information about phone verification: Verify your identity by phone - This option allows you to sell immediately on eBay. Enter your telephone number as indicated (land lines only) and select whether you want to receive the call now (you'll receive the call within 20 seconds) or in 2 minutes. You will get an automated call with a 4-digit verification number at the telephone number you specified. Enter the 4-digit verification number on eBay and continue your registration.

how do u do this i looked on ebay for this opition but i cant find anything about verfiying the phone to become a seller all i see is addding eather a cc a bank or become id verfiyed which requires alot of info so if some one knows how to do this can u plz post a link stright to the setup page thanks.

It's supposedly a beta option eBay is working on. It should be available soon.

yeah thats not very ez to do because every one uses ebay. like i used half.com and amazon and overstock but sales a nothing compared to ebay so unless a better auction site comes along to stomp out ebay looks like where all stuck useing them

yeah. Some one was saying that maybe we should make our own web page and sell our items from there.So when you sell something on EB send them a friendly note that you have your own online store.

click on the personal information, then click add credit card it will then give you 2 options,
1. verify by phone
2. give them ur credit card details.

I had them call me and was able to list straight away.

have already tried this methoed no one bought from my webpage cause they dont feel safe when there not buying from ebay and unless i can make a super fancy looking site which i have to pay much money for then this wont work and so many ⊗⊗⊗⊗ websites that scammers make its really hard now days.

And 2nd excuse is people buy from ebay over buying from a website! heck i was selling cell phones on ebay that i bought from the online site i was paying $34 total shipped for them and selling them on ebay for $70 to $80+ for each cell phone so this gose to show that people think o its ebay then it must be cheaper then buying retial or at a online store.

I tried this method dose not work there is no add credit card opition it says edit credit card but then says u have to have a sellers account to edit a card then it gose to the set up page then u have to add a credit or or become id verfiyed which ask your for alot of stuff besides just a #

there where cingler cell phones was makeing about $50 a pop on them :D ebayers where to stupid to goto the website rather then shoping ebay first
