package being held in US customs question!
 

hi guys! i am expecting a package from china via EMS then USPS and it got to the us very fast but it has been held in US customs for almost 2 weeks!!! this has NEVER happened to me and ive ordered stuff from china so many times and all the same stuff... the boxes arent big and nothing unusual, all legit items.... does anyone have ANY idea on how to speed up this process of getting my stuff!!?? PLEASE IM DESPERATE!:rant:

oh ps- im in NJ, and my package is being held in NY. so its not a transit time issue.

My package is still in customs..
 

The thing is it's from a pharmecutical company. In the usps.com site it says that packages that contain this type of item can be detained... it's not like they're gonna send it after 30-45 days. As far as using a different zip code? how on earth will you ever get your package if you use the wrong zip code? I failed to understand that one.

I paid for EMS shipping. I was told the product was not illegal and that the company ships to usa all the time.. I also read that once your package is held in customs (by the way, JFK is where my package is detained), that all packages addressed to you coming through customs will also be detained. This really stinks. My package arrived in the USA after going through customs abroad and was fine there, but as soon as it got here, it sits in customs now for over a week. Why would a usa customs office abroad let it go through but not the one here in the usa? As for JFK, they are not any easier than any other customs office.
