US to UK customs duty for high end cell phones?
Is there any way to avoid this? I found this link:

and it says that there is no duty for cell phones but there is a "VAT" rate (S):
S = Goods are liable to VAT on importation at the standard rate (17.5 %).
YIKES!
My items sell for 450-550. Is there a way to label your customs form to avoid this fee on the buyers and the sellers side altogether? Like label it "manufacturer's return" or something? |
