Can you sell the same item on multiple ebay accounts?
 

Can you sell the same item on multiple ebay accounts, up to how many accounts if 'yes'?

How long is a piece of string? Describe your plan to get suitable answers. Just how good are you at ebay selling? To run multiple accounts is hard work. Seems like maybe an item might be a little hot?

Seems to me like a straightforward question? From what I understand you can have more than one account on ebay as long as each account has nothing to do with the other, but the question is, are you able to sell the same stuff on different accounts? Like one product on 10 different ebay accounts? I haven't run multiple accounts, but I don't see why it would be hard work unless being banned from ebay and having to establish new stealth accounts and then working your way up.

I mean I don't know how else to elaborate?

Short answer- yes

Yes but ONLY if you apply the following:

1. Different pictures taken on a different background.
2. Remove the exif of each picture. (there's a program for it in a thread if you search the forums) If you are uploading them just make sure you have a different photobucket, imageshack, tinypic, or etc... account for each eBay account.
3. Slightly different title and description.

If it is an unusual item a buyer would be the one I would worry about.

Remember many buyers buy things from the same category, group etc and if you have an account that goes down and start selling the same item and do not change EVERYTHING you will get caught.

Buyers will be the ones to notice and report you.

Been there done that one time. Wont happen again.

I know you want to get back to selling a hot item but you really need to think it through and watch everything you do.

New pics, use the program called ReNamer to make random img names. Remove Exif. Different backgrounds for each seller account. Stick to that BG for each seller account.

Different wording for the same details.

Different font, style layout.

Why couldnt it be done? Its a completely different, unrelated person ;)

If the other ebay a/c is within the same set (ie user a/c), then you don't need to bother with all that you can use exactly the same pics and description. Even if its a completely different stealth I don't usually bother with new descriptions, its unlikely they'll link you through description- first thing I do when selling a new item is steal other people's descriptions as I am sure most people do.

I have the same item up on 10 accounts right now with the exact same listing since I'm using ebay's stock photo and description. The only difference is the price and the time they were listed is about 2-3 hours upart and I am sitting back drinking some Long Island Iced Tea just loving it.

I also drink cocktails while doing ebay and posting on aspkin, I also have a few babes in bikinis kicking back in the pool.

as i dont understand these things -is renamer 100% necessary?? I just strip excif
