continued emails from banned accounts

So today I got yet ANOTHER email from eBay regarding an account of mine that was banned something like 5 years ago. It doesn't happen that often, just once in a while. The funny thing is, the emails aren't even about trying to collect seller fees or anything like that... they're just stupid crap like workshops or promotions that they tell every other eBay member about. Of course I'm not dumb enough to actually open them anyway.

At first I thought wow they're so stupid. How hard is it just to tell the system something simple like "banned user = no emails!" duuuuhr! :nerd:

But then again, do they know this but continue sending emails to banned accounts like this just as one more tool to try and "catch" people using stealth accounts? That's the only explanation that makes any sense to me.

Anyway they're still dumb for expecting stealth account users to fall for such an obvious trick. :p Just more evidence of eBay's complete loss of touch with reality.

:rip: eBay! Hopefully very soon.

I still get emails daily from PayPal saying that 'Your PayPal Funds are Eligible for Withdrawal'. Now I'm pretty sure this account (several years old) is negative.

Maybe one day I'll log in and see what the deal is. :p

How to make PP negative?

If SSN is there, they will report to credit bureau?

I received email from ebay too.
Did they can track my IP address when I open the email?

I set up new Used account for my new ebay accounts.
I worry about they can track you by open those email from Ebay.

Any commons?

They could, they've never shown up on mine. :)
