BIN VERO takedowns

Has anybody ever had a multiple quanity BIN taken down by VERO? If so did it remove every single sale from the BIN? I was wondering if it does remove every single sale does it just count as 1 VERO violation?

I've had all my buy it nows taken down all at the same time. If I remember, all of the buy it now's count as one takedown if they are removed at the same time. I usually get my feedback up in order to sell multiple quantities in a single listing.

i had some taken down recently both fixed and auction, the counted as one vero violation

And best of all, you get hundreds of dollars in fees back. If the vero member let you get that far. :ballchain:

You get you your fees back if the auction is taken down? I've never heard of that.

smaaron02 03-21-2010 11:12 PM

Yes you get all your fees back. I had a single bin with multiple quantities and I got every single penny back! Ebay removing your auctions is not that bad, but it all depends on which one they remove. :D

What about scheduled listings? Do they get taken down as well?

imjustme 09-29-2010 02:59 PM

Anyone listing more than 1 quantity for VERO items is asking for trouble.

aking 09-29-2010 03:05 PM

What about weekend listings? I noticed VERO takedowns are less frequent on the weekends. Would anyone else agree?

ARRRGGGHH!! Vero makes me so mad!! I have an item that sells within 5 minutes of listing it but I can sell it!! They just did a Vero sweep and all my listings on all accounts got taken down!! I also just searched ebay and so has everyone elses items!! GRRRRRR!!

imjustme 09-29-2010 03:07 PM

I haven't gotten any VERO takedowns for 1 1/2 years :D

oompaloompa 09-29-2010 04:03 PM

they will often target BIN for takedowns first, for obvious reasons

I agree weekends are a little better.

jamblix 09-29-2010 07:11 PM

Yeah weekends are definitely better for some items. I was selling Phiten Titanium necklaces and got VeROed. Posted them on the weekend and got rid of all of them. Never selling those again though.

DAILYHUNDRED 09-30-2010 01:26 AM

Yup I agree I posted some listings sold around 10 items over the weekend then monday around 11am they got removed. But i noticed just mine and a couple sellers maybe cus I'm still new. I'm going to post again on a different account this weekend though quick couple hundred bucks.

HurricaneHuntr 10-01-2010 04:36 PM

weekends are definitely easier... But vero is vero, they even take down completed items. If community overly reports something, typically it's just the active auctions. I had it happen today. i have sales that are fine with the exact same listing and name in completed. And they are fine, but active BIN all were ganked.

As for phiten. i thought about selling those, glad i avoided them.
