Default eBay Question

I have an eBay account that has been registered since 04

I have 1086 Feedback and a 98.9 feedback score, was a powerseller before paypal closure.

I used it as a seller account from the end of 2008 and for most of 2009 until I got the email from Paypal stating that they were going to part ways, etc, Paypal was not closed due to disputes etc.

However, my ebay has still remained fine. Im looking at making a new paypal, with new information, whats the chances I can use the new paypal with the old ebay without getting shut down?

If you purchased the ebay Stealth Book then you would know this is not recommended. But do a forum search as this has been discussed a bunch of times.

Never had experience with this, but I would think that the eBay account and the old PayPal account will always in some way be linked together. Chances are if you try to link the new Paypal your accounts will go down.

That Paypal account would be too much to risk to lose as well imo, if you have a fresh new Paypal account I would just make a new eBay account and build it slowly. You can always use alternative payment methods too for that other account with 1000+ feedback.

If you tried and it failed you would be down an eBay account and a fresh new Paypal. Plus I would think that even if you did manage to successfully link the new Paypal to the eBay account, the Paypal account is still new so you would in essence need to start from scratch anyways because the Paypal doesn't have information recorded from the old eBay account. I could be wrong...

Don't see how this could possibly work. This would imply incredible naivety on PayPal's part.

Default Paymate

What about linking paymate to the still active ebay account after your paypal was limited?

ebay owns paypal. They will see what you're doing, and know you're the same person. There are many payment methods out there.

Pre 07? Use a merchant account.
