In the past, just because I can, I have pushed ebay buyers to my Amazon, Bonanzle, Ebid and Craigslist listings simply by replying to questions made through Ebay, by using the reply button in my gmail account. I wouldn't reply through ebay, but rather directly to the buyer's email address. This allowed me to send them Paypal invoices directly, and bypass ebay fees, or steer business to the other sites to help grow my feedback there. I could also stockpile email addresses of potential customers for future mailing lists of new items listed on the other sites. I had done this as recently as last night.

Today, I now notice that when I reply to these emails they are not going to the customers any more, but rather to the email address listed in the heading title. Ebay continuing to close those loopholes!

Just a heads-up if anyone else has been doing what I was doing.

If they check the box that says "hide my email address" before sending a question then that's when you get the "UseTheYellowButton@ebay.com"

Gotcha. Ok, never noticed it before until today. Thanks for the info. It's most likely because I never really paid attention to it too much until I seen where my emails were being sent today.

I don't know maybe that's true too. But I notice today Google made some changes to thier email program. I had to change a bunch of my passwords because thier new program flagged my accounts because of different ips lol. So maybe just maybe google did something else I dunno I thought I would share.
