| | | romeo216 | 03-27-2010 01:05 PM | Non-Vero Items on ebay Just wondering if anyone here is making at least 2k per week with non vero items. Around 5 years ago, I used to do very good with wall clocks. I used to earn around $1500 per week. Now I'm finding it tough to make money with non vero items. I can't seem to find anything to sell. Things have changed on ebay. |
I think we are all in the same boat. I think it comes down to making your own product some how and then sell it on ebay. Good Luck |
| romeo216 | 03-27-2010 01:33 PM | i guess. I was making my own ebooks and selling them but now they don't allow that anymore. There's not really much you can sell on ebay without getting suspended or flagged. What's really the purpose of ebay? I don't get it anymore. |
| jamblix | 03-27-2010 01:43 PM | A question I've been asking myself for awhile now...
There are non-Vero items that do sell though. I've thought about some As Seen on TV products, baby supplies, unbranded electronics, accessories and clothing.
The profit margins on non-Vero items may be slim, but you'll be cutting the risk of suspension and headaches. You'll also probably need to make PLENTY of sales to make decent money as the profit margins slim.
I'm sure many do make as much or more than 2000 a week selling non-Vero just gotta find the right product is all. I think finding the right product is going to be the toughest part. |

Also you can still find bargains at garage sales, craiglist and clearance racks if you focus on one area and your good its alot of legwork though. |
| romeo216 | 03-27-2010 02:50 PM | I'm thinking about creating at least 5 stealth accounts. I guess if I have 5 auctions ending everyday the money will add up fast. 1 auction on each account. Is that a decent idea? |

Is that a decent idea? | More like 2-5 auctions on each account depending on how much the products are worth. Like Jbuntz said on a post in some thread is to avoid limitations and just make 500-1000 a month on each paypal account and you're set! ;) |

Paypal accounts created prior to 2011 will not escape federal legislation. |

| riversnew | 03-30-2010 09:40 AM | You might not be able to open PayPal accounts without SSN? In addition to selling counterfeits, you could be charged with tax evasion if you operate several stealth accounts in order to escape IRS tax reporting. |
| gibsonton | 04-01-2010 05:27 PM | You can only somewhat escape if your transactions and dollar amounts are low- thats why you may want to open several accounts ...but it doesnt look for accounts without a ss # from my conversation with paypal ....as i have said take the money you are making doing it the easier but risky way and try and invest in items that will not be a problem with vero . |
| OfficialGenius | 04-01-2010 06:08 PM | Perhaps duplicating a Non-vero product would work. If you have a chinese factory that can do it for you.
gibsonton gave me a valuable idea a few weeks ago based on what he mentions in his past posts.
I won't reveal it out in the open though. ;) |
| Irule22 | 04-01-2010 07:13 PM | Yeah, I sell ALL non-vero items.....the very rare case when I get a good deal on some used DVD's at a garage sale, etc. I used to make 8-10k a month, now with all the skipping from account to account, it's becoming more and more LESS worth it, if that makes sense. I have about $1500 locked up in various PP accounts that are under the 180 deal.
I screwed up YEARS ago when Beanie Babies were the hottest thing going and had an in for some "Questionable" Beanie Babies. Ran through about 20 accounts over the years before I came here. |
| gibsonton | 04-03-2010 07:50 AM | just type in '' wholesale '' or a ''item you like'' in ''LOT '' form etc .. youd be surprised at the people dumping stuff cheap .. been buying wholesale off ebay now fulltime going on 4 years .. best deals i have got have been the last 12 months since the crash in the economy AND 50% of what i buy is from sellers on ebay i contact and than we complete a bigger transaction off ebay as they dont list all they have to avoid fees(example they had a lot of 50 i contacted and bought 1500 at far less average price than the smaller lot of 50) cash talks right now .... another person on here took my tip about the dvds and now they are up to about $300 a week not a ton of cash but no vero problems for them after 8-10 weeks and they think they will be up to 3k a month by the summer as their cash is limited | | All times are GMT -5.
