10+ year old account
 

My friend has offered me his 10 year old account (made in '99 lol). He has 7 feedbacks, never sold one item.

Would this be safe to gradually bring back? BTW his last transaction was over a year ago.

I was thinking about buying some things slowly, then after a week or two start listing. Also participating in the forums and going to live chat and saying something like "Hey I've had this account for awhile, thought about selling some stuff I have. Where can I go for help?" or something along those lines to make them think I'm the real owner.

Any thoughts?

That's probably not a good idea.

we discussed some tips for this on the forum earlier today. click on my name and read some of those suggestions.
I would say start slow with selling for a few weeks if you want it to last.
please do not go into the forums and start talking about stuff I agree with the other comment.
