Slow week on eBay?
 

has anyone elses sales been slow this week? I sell PS3 systems and typically im beating customers off with a stick but this week ive barely gotten any bites.

Actually its been a average week until today. Sundays have been typically my 2nd best sales day of the week...but today I have had ZERO sales with one ridiculous offer.

In case you're wondering, Monday is my Best sales day.

Worst ever
 

The past 2 weeks was the worst ever and nubelievable, seriously i lost alot of money, i sold a lot of items with up to 30% less than what i use to sell m for which cost me big loss :attention:

its been slow for a long time ......and the prices competitors are charging drives it all down...........

Yeah, and the nation is in bad shape. No one has any money.
Maybe off topic, (apologies mods) but my sales are alwys primarily from Texas, Illinois, New York, and Austrailia. Regardless of the economy.

Yes I had very high expectations considering my items are sports related and some of those sports are now in the playoffs , big tournaments about to start ... and after a decent month of March , the past 2 weeks in April have really slowed down ..

Ebay seems to be canibalizing itself .. thier policies seem to creat a vicious cycle,
They almost create an atmosphere where scammers can thrive .. and honest sellers will be driven away! Buyers get ripped off and don't want to come back.

I was surprised at how well I did at Christmas time, because I know everyone is on a budget.

But when the end of January came around, everyone's Christmas bills showed up in the mail. Since then its been bad.

I notice a few have been saying this is recent for you, if you didn't already know a LOT has changed on ebay this year, especially since April 1st.

One reason could be that your getting little exposure in searches now due to having low DSR ratings.

Trotter, I think that may be true. But I diversify allot just to find new ways to make it on ebay. I believe it's something I've known for many years at wholesale. First two weeks of the month are the best cause the rent is paid and welfare checks arrive. They don't worry about the bills...then they realize they are broke by the third week so they tighten up.

It's coming closer to summer time as well, and we all know thats usually the slow period of the year.
