Phone Call From Fraud Department ?
 

Hey All,

I have a paypal/ebay account active since around Jult last year..

Added a savings account to my paypal around 2 months ago.. Have withdrawn around £700 to it.

I received a call today from my bank.. The Fraud department, asking if i had withdrawn money from the cash machine on this date, this date etc.. They never mentioned Paypal at all.. All they asked was, "was it you that had withdrawn the money?" I said yes and they said ok, we will be in contact with you within 5 - 7 days ?..

This savings account is in my own name linked to a stealth account..

Should I be worried? Do you think its anything to do with ebay/paypal ?

I doubt it has anything to do with paypal/ebay. Some banks and credit card companies call their customers of they make transfers that are not that of their usual habits. They probably ask if it was you that withdrew the money, not where it came from, so you should be fine.

Yeah im pretty sure it has nothing to do with your paypal account, its just they call you to make sure its you withdrawing money. Dont worry its all good.
