Ebay Competitor After me....and winning..
 

There is another seller that sells the same type of things that i sell.... well one day my listings were yanked and on the same day my user ID was also reported as being offensive (ive had the ID for 6yrs) 30 day suspension from selling, etc... well after 30 days.... i got hit again, 10 listings yanked another 30 day hit.... what should i do? How should i get him reported? ive tried reporting him for things, ebay just ignores it.....

How are you sure who it is?

Post a copy of your MC019 notice so one can look at it and figure out reason for why your listings are being removed.

You are not really saying why you got suspended, Was it a VERO Suspension, Limited Selling History, Suspicious Selling Activity, Unauthorized use of coprighted Materials, What?

You can't just get suspended because So-n-So Says so

If what you posted is all that there is however, it would seem to me that you need a sympathetic ear on Ebay's Staff.

Call them, Just tell them that you firmly believe that the "Trusted member of the Ebay Community" who reported the item is actually your competitor, and that you are quite sure that this type of action is Against Ebay policy and that in the interests of fairness, Ebay should look into the matter.

If the information that you posted is really all that there is, and it is a Big Powerseller Harrasing you I do not see how you can defend yourself without Ebay's Help.

I don't think It will be a problem, unless you are selling XXXX Items, then it might prove to be a little hard to get Ebay's help. If that is the case I would suggest giving that account a break for a while, get another account.

yes, they said it was trademark and copyright rules, etc... same things ive been selling for three yrs with no problem, and the exact same things that he is selling and he is still on there, this guy just popped up out of nowhere for the last 3wks, that is when my problems started..... i am not suspended, just no selling for another 30 days.... i think i may need to let this account sit and cool down and use another acct for awhile. seems like this acct is under the microscope right now.

By the way keep in Mind that If you get Suspended again within 1 year from your 1st 7 day suspension, it will be your 3rd suspension and it will be Permanent.

If you are going to continue selling on this account I would Make 100% sure that the items you are selling are 100% BULLETPROOF against Suspensions.

Now would be a good time to open a few Stealth accounts.

what that you say about 7 day suspension? any mc019 after that within a year is account toast, Im sure Ive had that happen to me, and I was not perm suspended, eg, a 7 day then say 6 months later a mc019....

Ted123 does not say that it is an MC019 suspension.

Above he States that he got a 7 day suspension or Selling restriction
Then he got a 30 day suspension or restriction.

That does not sound like an MC019, because as oompaloompa says above the account would have been toasted with the second infraction.

That is why I do not think it is an MC019, and agreed with Both Riversnew and Dogfacedboy that more information is needed.

well, some info i left out... might be why im not toast just yet..... I was a powerseller and selling smoothly before all this happened.... then within 10 days...... Ebay cancelled my pics, the same day.. my user ID was reported as "offensive" and had to be changed immediatley... then..Ebay informed me i lost my Powerseller status and stripped it off....then i immediatley had a 30 day selling restriciton.... patiently waited day by day... 30 days was up.... careful not to list the same stuff... then POW.. within 1 day... 15 listings killed... Another 30 days restriction... this thing hit so fast that it seems VERY suspicious to me..... and then there sits my number one competitor, the same items, etc... still selling........ 2+2 ?..ya, it still equals 4, this whole situation is VERY strange to me, it has got to be my competitor..... i mean think about it... my user ID being reported???

If you are being killed that quick, it was most likely a killbot scanning your ad and pics for stuff that got you suspended before.
What you should do is is open a few new stealth ebay accounts and rotate the ads between all 3. The ones that do not get by on your orignal account put on one of the stealths, but be sure to totally change the pics, ad title and description. Then best method is to copy the ad of the guy getting you suspended and alter a few words or delete a few. Then use a pic of the item from the web and link to it instead of uploading your own. If one of the stealths gets a warning, change them again and move to the second stealth. Eventually something will stick and the competitor will tire of lodging complaints when all you do is move to another account.

Not sure that should be posted here...ebay trolls could undoubtedly put 2+2 together and will for sure shut down the account

No your best bet is open multiple ebay stealth accounts and rotate the sales between them once they get warnings. You should also copy his ad as close as possible to his so you don't get hit by a killbot. You should change your pics as well.
