a few simple questions

hello, i am new here
anyway, I have an account now for several years. recently it has had a few violations. i want this account to cool down (but would still like to use it in a few months).
my question is can i just simply link a new ebay account to my paypal account (i read 2 is ok) and let the original cool down or should i create a stealth account?

like everyone here knows ANY help is appreciated!

Welcome to the forum, celtic.

You can do both options. You can add a second ebay account to the one paypal. You must have the same details but a different email address.
.
It is ideal for 'resting' those accounts when we have been naughty;)
A stealth account as a back-up is also a great idea.
if you have questions feel free to pm me:peace:

Yes, You can create a Second Ebay account and use your original Paypal account, but Greenbean wouldn't the Ebay accounts get linked?

Therefore creating a situation that if there is a new violation on the "New" Ebay account that BOTH Ebay accounts will get Suspended?

I am not sure but I think that is what will happen.

I think that the best way is to create a stealth Ebay/Paypal account and let the Original Ebay/Paypal accounts Rest long enough so that the violations Fall off.

Any additional insight that could be provided I think would be Helpful and appreciated by the whole community here.

Thanks,

Hiya,slapped!

This particular topic has pros & cons. As you say in the first instance the accounts do get linked. It is usuable for a seller who may be suffering from pesky violations. So let's say we have AccountA and AccountB all tied to paypalA. Seller gets a violation on AccountA. AccountB can be used while the former cools off.
Where sellers are heavily into selling risky items, they can consider this scenario. Rotating the accounts to sell. It also opens up another whole scenario of selling to different markets.
I love stealth accounts. I love the money. But it is more streamlined for me to have what I call 'group accounts'. I can manage one paypal, one bank account per group. Rather than the (possible) confusion of a separate ebay, paypal, bank account.
It boils down to being efficient. That can mean more money.
The drawback is overdoing the violations and losing everything. But if anyone has come that far with stealth, then that's their own stupidity.
Even ebay can only be pushed so far:peace:

Totally Understood,

How many Ebay accounts do you think is safe to tie to 1 Paypal account for each "Group"

I personally Have what I call "sets" 1 Ebay + 1 Paypal = 1 Set and I rotate sets, as well as Computers (4) and Internet Connections (3, Cable, Fios, and Dialup)
