How do you create a new seller account with out selling an item?
 

Do you have to sell an item, to establish a seller account?. I have 4 or so accounts I recently created, I let them sit for a few weeks, I registered them all with in my local area. I used my real Ip Address, to register them as well because I haveT3 or Fiber Optics. I can't figure out a way to change my IP with out using Proxy's. I decided to get an account up and ready to sell on. I donwloaded Ghost Surf and used a proxy for the first time, I listed an item using a VGC I bought at safeway. I created an auctiva account for the ebay account, to make listings in the future. I even created a bogus paypal account to match. I checked the Email today, It was NARU'D.
I THink I was suspended because I am in Cali, and my Ip was in Texas when I listed the item... Any advice? Does any one have any proxy software that allows you to change the server you are routed from, that I can have? So it appears to be a local Ip? THanks in advance!

Well, my advice is just get a dialup ISP as your ISP. Dialup ISPs can be cheap. Keep it in your local area.

Are you selling VERO or banned items? If so, try changing your title descriptions.

no, I started with legit items. I think it was my proxy server or not a real phone number

I put in ⊗⊗⊗⊗ phone numbers all the time, so most likely your proxy. Are you using a router or cable modem. Go to portforward.com and the will show you how to get into the interface. Change the DHCP lease time and reset your modem. If all else fails, uses SMAC 2.0 to change your mac address and that might get you a new ip when you unplug and reboot.

I've said this half a dozen times, but eBay can NOT trace a MAC address. Nobody can unless its with a Java program, which eBay doesn't use, or unless they're on your local network, which they're not.

I am not saying ebay can trace a MAC address. I am saying the certain ISP make it hard for you to change your IP address or modems that don't have interface, and that changing your MAC and power on and off of your modem, might get you a new ip address.

if your modem is connected straight to your computer (not through a router)
you do release, renew ip in command prompt. (should work)

Yes he does, but u forgot the land line phone number for paypal if they want one usualy they do. X X X X =X ur screwed then. But there is a way around that ^__^

That sounds strange, I once also lost my PS status due to not keeping up with the requirements however I was never suspended. You should not get banned because you are unable to keep the PS status. Maybe I'm wrong but don't think so.
