eBay company advertising ⊗⊗⊗⊗ DVDs lol!
 

Haha, saw something pretty funny just now. I was browsing through Sidereel.com looking at some TV shows to watch and I saw an eBay advertisement for DVDs. The ad was for a Toy Story 1+2 Special Edition pack for $16.00

I clicked on the ad and it took me to a Buy it Now page for the Toy Story 1+2 for $16.00 from a guy with 72 feedback and to my surprise they were ⊗⊗⊗⊗. Seller from Hong Kong selling Disney DVDs for $8 each? C'mon it can't get any ⊗⊗⊗⊗r than that.

I wonder how eBay does there marketing, was this automatically generated or if it was done manually they need to be more careful. eBay in essence for this particular one ad was advertising ⊗⊗⊗⊗ merchandise.

I normally would not send links to eBay pages with the seller's information etc. However this link DID come from a public advertisement so check this out: New Toy Story 1 and 2(DVD, 2005, Special Edition) - eBay (item 250629891855 end time May-12-10 08:33:55 PDT)

I wonder if eBay could get sued for this...

I'm sure that is random generated based on the site you are looking at. Such as dvd listings on dvd site and cars on car sites.

As for Ebay getting sued over it I highly doubt it since Ebay is not the actual seller of the product. The ad is just directing you to the site and showing you where to purchase them.

It could even be a brokered ad. I doubt that ebay is directly responsible for running the ad, and they aren't directly liable for an individual listing.

really funning,as ebay is stick for selling vero dvds but now they do ads for it

I don't believe ebay was running the ad. I think some other seller or link-share was pointing to ebay listings as banner ads. I've seen something similar before.

maybe they do not know the goods are ⊗⊗⊗⊗ , the dvds owner do not contact them for the copyright,so they think the dvds are genuine as the seller list it as genuine
