Default Weird Confirmed address should I ship to it?

Here is the address does it look weird to you guys:

xxx xxx
PO Box xxx
xxxxxx NY
xxxxx-xxxxx
United States

I X'ed out his personal info, is that a PO box in the post office or something? The buyer called us and what not, good communication, should I call the buyer and tell him his address looks funny, and if he says its wrong can he change it?

I personally would never ship to a P.O box. Call him and tell him

I don't see any problem with that address? Except for all the X's

And I don't see any problem with shipping PO Box if it is confirmed by PayPal. I do it at least twice a week.

Sure, call your customer if you are in doubt.

P.O Box is the preferable address to ship to because all you need is delivery confirmation. It is actually more secure than leaving parcels outside the door in a mailbox which is not secured.

@anderson, there are many companies in the USA that supply 'virtual' addresses. I've seen quite a few with that layout. Seen them in Florida & New York State.

Bill Jones
PO Box 369
Bumpkin NY
10025-4587
United States

I get these all the time. Means they usually live in a smaller town, usually out in the country and they have a PO Box in town. My grandmother 80 miles outside of Billings, Montana is the same way. She has a RR number and also a PO Box in her small town of 2,000.

I personally use this approach whether I live in a city of 5 million or 1,000. It's a matter of personal privacy.

Little confused...I live in the second largest city in my state (VERY large city) and all of the PO Boxes are INSIDE the post office and my PO address has a city attached to it of course.....how else would they know where to send it to? Never seen a package that didnt have a city, state, zip on it. Maybe I am misunderstanding the question........
