How Many Items is it safe to Sell?

Hello

Great site by the way. Its thanks to this I've been able to get back on ebay and start selling again for the 1st time in about 4-5 months. Keep up the good work!!

I've got a couple of questions. How many items is it actually safe to list in a day? I've read its somewhere around 100 but I've ended up going over that amount quite a few times.

Also how many items is it safe to have listed at one time? Back when I was selling under my real name I know I had somewhere between 500-700 at one time. No surprise I got suspended for the usual "Intellectual Property Rights" reason which is the biggest load of bull I've ever heard of as there are loads on Ebay who are clearly breaking that law.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in Advance:)

I have 4 accounts on the go at the mo and only 2 different routers to use. I've tried re-setting my IP address by reseting one of the routers but it doesn't change it. Haven't tried the other one yet.

I suppose the best best them would be using dial-up and loging off each time before using each account.

lol.. umm it would bea whole lot easier if you just changed ips lol, its like a 10 second process, than going to target or exchanging hardware, just google your "router model change ip". are you on cable? if you're on dsl then just turn off ur modem..

So back to the original question How many items is it actually safe to list in a day? Roughly?

HI- It really depends- I am thinking on the Category.
For example- my particular items close at approx. $29-$59 each. I can list from 12-20 with no problems, after that - get the abusing ebay.
I am thinking it has to do with Dominating a Category, possibly?? As these are NOT vero items..

Ebay is weird. They just took down 6 of my auctions copyright and left 3 of the same thing up???????????? And I listed 10 items on a 2 month old account with 1 feedback

I think it's because someone is reporting all their competitors and not just you. They copy and paste listing IDs from various auctions to report and ebay says they can only do 10 at a time. The reporter gets lazy and assumes if they report half of your listings, ebay will go and look at the rest and take them all down.

I've had people do that to me and they'll just hit the first 10 listings and then that's it. The other listings will be the same but ebay didn't want to check if they weren't reported.

I swear those people need to get a life

f-ing truly. i think those people are just stupid dumbsht idiots, why would it matter if less people sold the same crap as you (im thinking vero stuff), the more people that sell the better, you will still sell for a good price, it will just be harder for ebay to take people off, the less people selling in a category, the easier it is for ebay and other idiot users to report the 2-3 sellers left.. i actually noticed this in one of the items im selling, used to be like 15-25 items all the time there, now thees like 5 maximum... because ebay takes everyones down.
