Automatic powerseller status?
 

So I log into one of my accounts that I have been using to sell jackcrap just for the hell of it - no real profit - actually I use it more for buying than anything...

Suddenly there's the tag of powerseller next to my tag...do they random designate you now? Thought you have to accept something...

I haven't even read the advantages - ha going to be a sad day when this account goes bye-bye

Last power seller account I had was 1. Based on sales and 2. I had to opt in

Maybe a glitch that it was added.

Had a power seller for a couple years but never really knew if it was a good thing or not. Save on some fees and that's nice. But do buyers really care? I bet if you ask 10 people you will get 10 different answers.

One thing I do know about power seller thats bad >> IRS/Revenue look at those accounts first. So depending on your setup....

I'm pretty sure it is automatic now. The last two times it happed to me I was automatically made a power seller. They give you a powerseller discount on listings. Either 5,10 or 15 percent depending on your level.

I got it a few months ago and had to accept the invite.

It happened to me automatic. First they sent me an email saying I qualified a couple weeks ago. I never accepted the invitation. Now, when I log in the logo is next to my name with bronze status. Funny thing is, I haven't sold anything on that account in about 3 months.

I got it yesterday; I didn't have to accept anything.

yes same happened to me on higher volume accounts, I had to opt in

i wish i was a powerseller, too bad i barely sell anything :(

All good - I guess powerseller account can take a few more hits than usual...É

It happened to Me as well, More than once recently even after I DECLINED the invitation, It just makes me wonder

I had to opt in. I got an email today ending one of my PowerSeller accounts.
