Default Using URL for watermarking photos in Ebay listing

Hi,

I have read across many articles and many experts say that you can use your URL in your watermarked photos. Ebay don't mention any such thing in their guideline. They don't mention anything like that DON'T USE URL. They just mention about using Ebay ID etc.

Anyone with such experience? What's the worst that could happen? And if anyone actually got suspended for using URL in their photos?

Thanks a lot

It wouldn't get seen by any bots... but if a human looked at it they would tag it as against the rules I think. And if it is against the rules, other clowns will report you pretty quick.

First find out if its allowed. If not, I wouldn't risk it. Just lead to grief if against the rules...

I use a photo in the text of the description and below the photo I put "Photo Courtesy of www.blanketyblank.com" No problems so far.

Really. Thats surprising. I would have assumed that ebay wants nothing pointing to an outside website whatsoever. Interesting to say the least. More pictures, more free advertising. I wonder if you have been lucky or they actually don't care.
