Old eBay account - Safe to use?
 

I recently was suspended on eBay so have found myself trying to remember old accounts that I may have open that were never used. I found one that was created Jul-14-07 with zero feedback. There's no PayPal, CC or Bank tied to the account. I would love to use it as a seller's account but I'm not sure if I can.

Recently, I tried to create a stealth account and shortly after posting an item, I was limited and told to call eBay to 'verify identity'. Of course, I was unable to verify it so, that account is closed for business.

I know older accounts are more flexible or what have you, but I'm not sure having an older account would mean.

- Is it safe?
- Is there any advantage over an account made today?
- Would eBay ask to verify my identity?
- Would it be better used as a buyer account only?

Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.
