Opening Ebay messages in your email?
 

This may sound like paranoia to the extreme but is it OK to open your ebay messages in gmail?My computer is screwed for logging into ebay so I use internet cafes but surely its OK to open your messages without them knowing,or is it?I know obviously not to click the links within the email.

no nothing wrng with that, i do it all the time. only time you cna get caught is if you click the links to message them back or something im guessing.

As long as images are set to OFF. If set to default ON, images can send your IP

Go to:

gmail/settings/

Set external content to:
Ask before displaying external content

Also set Contacts' pictures to:
Only show pictures that I've chosen for my contacts

Save then your good to go
