UN-linking & RE-using Moneybookers, Cartmanager, Auctiva etc. on eBay

Hi, can't seem to find a firm answer in the forum on tokens. I have a eBay account that just got the MC010 after my first sale, they want me to call them, but my question is not about this suspension.

This is a very old stealth account (2008, before I started writing down all the info about each account) that I don't have the DOB for etc. So I guess I shouldn't call and waste my time.

The question is: If I have a real Moneybookers account that was linked to this eBay account using a token (where you sign in and authorize Moneybookers to access your eBay info), Can I unlink the accounts and use the real Moneybookers on a different **** eBay account?

Or does eBay somehow know each token? Are there unique "token IDs" or something similar?

The same question would apply to any token from Auctiva, Cartmanager etc.

If this has been answered PROPERLY before, then I'm sorry.

Moneybookers

I answered my own question...

Don't know if anybody cares, but in the case of Moneybookers at least, they have you create an entirety new account. Then their customer service will transfer your info like address, ssn etc. to the new account from the old account for you.

This is useful for creating a new stealth account that accepts Moneybookers.

^They don't ask for DOB when you call.

Side note. You actually use and like Moneybookers? Everyone here says it sucks... Hmmm...

Moneybookers

NO, I don't use Moneybookers! At least not to accept payments. I just link it to my eBay account so I can invoice buyers manually with PayPal to avoid 21 day holds!

Yea, I hate to Break the News to you but Ebay has recently Updated its policy to fight this:

"Clarification is included about instances where seller funds may be held as pending in their PayPal accounts. eBay at times may request, and may continue to request, that PayPal hold seller funds to help facilitate smooth transactions. eBay will make such requests based upon factors including, but not limited to, selling history, seller performance, riskiness of the listing category, or the filing of an eBay Buyer Protection claim. PayPal may also hold funds pursuant to their own Funds Availability Policy."

In other words If Ebay Suspects Anything with your account They will ask Paypal to Hold your Money, Notice it says NOTHING about 21 Days or how long.

Ha Slapped - they actually updated policy...nonsense.

They own Paypal and can do what they want. Putting it down in such a sketch manner just irritates even more.

Im sorry let me clarify

I don't actually invoice manually by logging into PP and sending a request. I use CCnow. I send a request to my buyers and say its a link to our company shopping cart.

Fees are higher, but I dont have to worry about limitations or 21 day holds.

This is Very True, but at least now they are Letting us Know that they are the Ones behind the 21 Day Holds ( BIG Suprise)

Maybe someone over at Ebay grew some B@LLS
