inkfrog price rise to $14.95 a month

Inkfrog have put their prices up to $14.95 a month.

Personally I would now use Auctiva priced at $9.95 a month.

The only bonus of inkfrog is that you can amend LIVE ebay listings within inkfrog and Auctiva you cant (at the moment)

But Auctiva customer services is excellent where as Inkfrog is a bit lacking.

You can get a free Inkfrog account but it allows only 25 listings per year... I still can't figure out how to get a few eBay account under the same inkfrog account in order not to pay $14.95 per month for each... Any experience with that?

SaiJin 07-21-2010 09:11 PM

Problem with that is the url of the image.
I'd think that the images would link all the accounts under 1 inkfrog by eBay I'd think.

Can someone who has experience confirm on this? It'd definitely be nice to have 1 inkfrog and multiple ebay accounts together.

Auctiva is the best way to go.. they have a lot of good options (not to mention price) that are more benefiting to stealth users.

SaiJin 07-21-2010 09:21 PM

Hmm.... I thought auctiva raised their prices and became very unattractive months ago.
THey changed back? And we can use multiple stealth accounts on one auctiva acc?

Agree Auctiva is the way to go. The only feature Auctiva is lacking is the ability to amend LIVe ebay listings within Auctiva.

Inkfrog do this.

How hard can this be to set up?

Once they have that thats pretty much it, but I feel it is lacking without this feature. I dont want to amend listings in ebay if it can be avoided.

towergem 07-27-2010 11:02 PM

did not use inkfrog before.

MadSam 07-27-2010 11:14 PM

Why use inkfrog when you can use Auctiva?

NZT 07-28-2010 03:04 AM

Ok I tell you what I did. I used Auctiva for the free month and when that expired I skipped over to inkfrog.

However I do prefer Auctiva but like I say the one feature it is lacking is the ability to amend live listings.

I got in the habit of using both so I could get the 'feel' as to how they both worked. IE ease of listing, site down times, customer support so I could provide accurate information on this forum.

Plus I do like to get things free so using either site for a month the switching to the other always flicks my switch.

I only takes about 10 minutes to set up either and configure a good selling template so I save myself $9.95!

You can also sever the link between Auctiva and ebay then close the Auctiva account.

Then set up a new one. But to be honest for $9.95 I do think Auctiva is worth it. It affords you all these extra stealth opportunities.

You can pretty much log in and list in your Auctiva account without fear of reprisals.

If you log in willy nilly into ebay then you are asking for trouble.

SaiJin 07-28-2010 09:07 AM

Is it safe to use auctiva for multiple eBay and PP accounts without getting linked?

Inkfrog I don't think is safe.

NZT 07-28-2010 09:33 AM

I tell you what I do Saijin, I use a single Auctiva account for 1 ebay account.

I have a user account set up on my computer.

ALSO TO PREVENT ACCIDENTLY LOGGING INTO THE WRONG EBAY ACCOUNT WHILE IN THE WRONG USER ACCOUNT.

I Have Roboform set up on each user account. That way I never manually log into ebay. Simply click the Roboform log in. This is free software and I would recommend it.

newtools 07-28-2010 10:09 AM

i have been using inkfrog. so i never have to log in. the only thing i have thought of to solve the image linking problem is to re upload the image if you are selling the same items on multiple account to each individual listing in each user name in inkfrog. this way its actually a diff link. another thunk you can do is to acrtually take a diff pic of the items in a diff setting and angle for each acct so its not the same pic across all accts. even better to too not sell the same item on other accts. such as xyz on acct #1, abc on acct #2

Hmmm I guess I can't use 1 auctiva with multiple ebay accounts then eh.
Ah well.

I've noticed on more then one occasion inkfrog has altered an existing listing when I was adding a new one from within their system

If you have a ton of listings it may go unnoticed so just a heads up

3 times now in a week a new listing was just massed into an old one. Changing pictures and shipping and prices. I may go back to Auctiva. This kind of error is not cool. All 3 items just happened to increase in price, but no way I want a price to go down in error!

Anyway, heads up if you use inkfrog.
