To call Ebay, you must use the phone listed on your ebay account or any phone number is OK?

Skype is OK?

Use the phone listed in the account is the best option.

Man, why, why? It is preferable to phone ebay from the number listed on your account. ebay owns skype. So if that skype number is not clean/safe/virgin, then dont use it.:boink:

Hate to get lots of phones for all ebay accounts.

too bad, that's what you gotta do though. Most of mine has expired... it's not worth buying trac phone minutes, just buy a new phone and add it, if you really want an active always on phone, you need to keep buying new trac phones every 60 days

It should be a BUSINESS decision. If you are making, let's say, $500 each month on a stealth account, is it worth the $8 or so per month to keep the TracFone going?

Multiply that by 10, and you are paying $80 per month. Which is a lot. But is it worth it to make $5,000 per month? Of course, your numbers will be different, depending on your PROFIT MARGIN. So, plug your numbers in and do the math.

Big Lots and many dollar stores have the phones themselves for cheap, about $10 or so. And TracFone runs TONS of promotions. Just Google TracPhone Promo Codes and there will be hundreds of matches.

There are also other alternatives to TracFone, but you won't get a functioning phone number for much less than $8 per month anyway.

OH, yes. One other GREAT THING about TracFone, is that they DO NOT REQUIRE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION from you. There IS a screen that asks for everything when you activate the phone, but on the bottom you will see a link that says "Skip This Step".

So, click the link, activate the phone, and you now have an UNTRACEABLE phone at your disposal. Just make sure to pay in CASH when you buy the refill cards.

I bought a TracFone for $5 at Big lots, it only came with 10 setup minutes according to the package. I bought a $20 airtime card, which gave me 60 minutes of airtime and also 60 days of service. I typed in a promo code I found on Google - I cannot remember the site, but it's theme was working moms.

When i keyed everything in, I ended up with 120 minutes and 180 days of service. This was WITHOUT purchasing the double minutes for life card that costs like $40 or so.

So, for $25, I have 6 months of service. The minutes won't be an issue since I am only using the phone for eBay/PayPal (and whatever other limited uses I have). This works out to $4.17 per month.

120 minutes for your main phone won't go very far, but for Stealth purposes, it cannot be beat!
