Local pickup

Think a listing would get removed if you say local pickup only in payment methods section but say you will ship in the actual auction listing?

(To invoice manually without listing a PP)

only if someone reports it.

Plus you are unlikely to get much traffic anyway if you use this method

What about

What if you put something like "SHIPS FAST" or something in the title, to increase traffic??

Really the only way to avoid your listing being taken down thus causing possible problems with your account is to format it as a classified ad which is about $10 in fees but does stay up for 30 days. Logical choice if the item is a more expensive one. Good Luck!

What is your bottom line here? :spy:

It's more helpful to give info instead of many question skirting around the actual issue

I'd say you have a newish account you want to list on, you want to bypass options as much as you can and get traffic to hopefully get the item sold.

That's what I'd say if I gambled.:boink:

Reason why

The reason I asked the question originally is I was just thinking of ways to not give eBay a PP address for auctions on a NEW account. Then using a third party checkout system. (without being suspended)

-This would bypass PP 21 day holds
-This would put like a buffer between a **** ebay and a real PP account
-This would allow you to take whatever Payment method you wanted.

Another option I was thinking about is to have a Moneybookers only ebay account then just say in the auction that you accept PayPal. Then use the 3rd party checkout system again to take PP payments.

I just hate HAVING to give ebay a PayPal address that is then linked to the eBay account. If eBay goes down PP follows and vice versa. PayPal limitations are in my case a bigger problem than eBay suspensions. You can have all the stealth eBay accounts in the world but verified PP accounts are more difficult to create. AND people love paying with PayPal

:thumb: Nice one. Love to see you are thinking O/S the square that is paypal. Some good concepts there, very good.
