Moving and wanting to go legit... but can I?
 

2 of my own accounts went down for good a couple years ago. I have about 5 stealth accounts...all in good standing, both Amazon and eBay.

Im moving next week and want to try and open another account but in my name. I will have new IP, physical address, credit card, ect... but want to use my real info (name/bday). Dont ask why, I just want a legit account for my personal stuff...maybe I want to feel like I do exist some where on ebay :)

Since everything will be new....would they trace it back to my suspended just because of the same name/specs?

they most definately could. I would use a name variation or don't do it at al.

you must use a name variation, new address and new ip, with a new phoine number. use a voip number that you can change and it will fine.

Hi Adam I am in the same boat as you. Moving house in a few days. My plan is to do this.

I will have an ebay account with my REAL details. Address only, I will likely use a name variation. I will use this ebay account for BUYING only. (Just for the convenience of receiving items at my new address.

But for selling I will still use stealth. Even if you try to use your new address for legit selling, if and when they suspend you you would have messed up your new address.

Better to leave your address as clean as possible in my opinion.

I guess ill do it with my middle name. Everything else will be different but still all be true. Crossing between 5 identities just makes me want to have my own :)

I made 3 accounts in my real name and real DOB. The first was suspended due to carelessness. The second suspended because I didn't know better at the time and created my account on a computer with a suspended account. The third had a new address, IP, phone number etc. It lasted pretty long than got suspended due to VeRO. None of the previous two accounts mentioned anything about my first one though so you could very well be in the clear if all you want to do is use your real name and DOB. The only reason the last one got suspended was because I was being careless with VeRO.

Only downfall to this would be you still can't use your original SSN to link with Paypal. Once you've used up your SSN and it gets suspended it's over. I really do think it takes more than just a name and DOB to link accounts. I would make sure, double and triple check that you've got everything right. Different address, IP, user account, phone number, e-mail, passwords, bank accounts, credit cards the whole works.

If you want to go a step further I'd suggest eventually even switch to Paymate and link that to your eBay account as you can use your real SSN number with them. That way you can have an eBay account with your real info as well as a Paymate account with your real info. It would be completely legit and eBay would never know that the SSN your using is being used again because Paymate does not share any information with eBay.
