How to sale on US ebay with CA ebay account?
 

Due to the SSN requirement for PayPal, I have decided to create a Canadian PayPal/eBay account

If I do this how would I be able to sale on US ebay? OR get US buyers to buy my products?

Since nobody answered, I assume nobody really knows, or is not sharing.

I say just try it, put the CA PayPal address into your eBay listings and see what happens.

I guess it could work in theory. For example: What if you were a Canadian company with a Canadian bank but you have offices/ stores in the US?

Don't know 100% but if you try it, let us know what happens.

Paypal Canada will Eventaually require, a I Believe it is called an "NIT" Number, I Am NOT sure if that is what it is actually called but it is Some type Taxpayer or Medical insurance Identification Number VERY Similar to the USA's Social Security Number

I think its the SIN. And what if he were to open a account in a country that doesnt have SSN or SIN or TIN or ABCD XYZ or anything like that?

Then I guess you can make **** IDs and CC statements if need be. BUT I dont know if you would be able to do any of this if your IP is a US IP, right?

Then you are going to Deal with an ENTIRE Host of issues, I went this Route a Couple of years ago, literally ALL OVER the World, Always having a different Problem, first of all you will have a problem if you connect it to an ebay US Account, IP Address will ALWAYS Be an Issue, Using a proxy server Just does not last long, a VPN somehow ALWAYS winds up getting Banned, Then there is the Bank account issue, finding US Banks with Overseas Branches in the country where you are making the Paypal account in that ARE COMPATIBLE with that Paypal---And a LOT, LOT More---It was a MESS For me.

I have Canadian eBay accounts and I sell on US eBay all the time.

When I get limited, I don't have to provide the Canada SIN number but I am asked for Driver's license or other government ID with proof of address.

There you go ThreadStarter, Right from the Horse's Mouth as far as a Canadien Paypal Account is Concerned.

And I am Sorry I was under the Impression that on Paypal limitations SIN Numbers were Required in Canada---I Stand (Sitting Actually) Corrected.
