New Ebay message about selling limits
 

This was new for me. Just before finishing a listing, the good old red letters came up. It said, "Just let you know, new sellers are limited to 100 per month. You haven't reached it yet, but we'll let you know when you do, and you can contact us and discuss."

That is a paraphrase, but that's pretty much it. I am backing off that account COMPLETELY. They let me list it, and it was nice to kind of get a friendly warning....I think:sweat:

100 items or amount? was it vero item?

I received the same message, so I stopped selling at 96 items.
I'm going to let the account cool for a couple weeks and try selling a few more items, once the amount I sold during the 30 day period drops down a bit.

It was 100 items. It wasn't a vero item.

Ebay: We gonna get you, and when we do there is no getting out of it!


BWAHAHAHAHA!!! This company gets more hilarious every day it seems.

How old is the account and how many feedback does it have?

The account is 3 weeks old with 30 positive feedback, and all 5 star DSRs.

How'd you get 30 feedbacks in 3 weeks? :shocked: Selling vero or by buying stuff?

Is that 100 listings a month or 100 sales?

I've sold maybe 50 things, a lot of cheap stuff to build feedback.

Something I've been doing is putting a little note giving a short, sad story about being broke, and reminding them about the feedback. It's short, doesn't sound like begging, states the facts. It's worked WONDERS.

My last Stealth account had 83 feedback in 5 weeks, because of that note. I revised it many times before using it, making sure it sounded just right, and wasn't too long.

Maybe I can pull a Modee and charge you guys $1,000 for the note :lol:

To the point where nothing surprises me anymore. I expect an email any day saying:

"We thank you for your interest, but we will not be allowing people to sell on ebay until Mars and Jupiter align. At that time we will notify sellers they may once again sell on ebay"

If you can move that much stuff, why not do 50/account per month and set up as many accounts as you have?

You could end up having 4 or 5 100+FB accounts in no time. I would think that those would be golden

I love it when they say "we want to assure you that you have done nothing wrong" then suspend you.
