I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up. Previuously, when I qualified to be a Powerseller, I had to accept an invitation.

Three days ago, one of my accounts became a bronze level Powerseller. There was NO OPT-IN! It happened automatically.

I do not know if the higher levels are still opt-in or not.

I should be getting PS and TRS this week and I think it's automatically when it's bronze. A previous account of mine had it happen automatically.

I also just became a Bronze PowerSeller and it happened automatically. I was quite surprised to see this because I have just been selling stuff from around the house. I will happily take a 5% disount in fees though :)

I am pretty sure they are automatic also. I know for a fact the silver is.

I sold a few lots of scrap gold by weight and that kicked me into the silver power seller status automatically for 3 months. After that it was back to normal at bronze.

Just read on eBay's help page that it is automatic.

Yes happened auto to one account of mine too.

yeah automatic powerseller here too...why would someone not want to be a powerseller?

How long did all of your evaluations takes?

I did not get evaluated - one account just went auto - started late 2009 - kicked in around mar this year.
