Having an account evaluated for PowerSeller status today yet nothing has been updated. How long does it usually take?

48-72 hours although few stories of 5 days.

A while back they sent me an offer, but I wasn't sure of whether I should or not. What are the pros and cons? Do you have to wait for an invite from them? What are the requirements?

Few pros are a little stronger to deal with policy violations. Some higher "sentiment" standing with buyers. Bronze seller status has 20% discount apparently.
