Hmm, I just noticed the same thing. Weird thing is, the user account in question is several years old (and suspended)! It's been on there looks like from the start. If I removed it now, does that mean there could be some changes to the account? Should I leave it alone or should it be safe to remove? I haven't had any problems yet but my new paypal address hasn't been on there all that time either. Suggestions?

I have dicovered that if you remove that, Your accounts are no longer linked. The way I know is I went to print a shipping label for an item i sold. I did not receive the payment for this item through paypal, I used my own merchant account. So when i clicked on print shipping label in ebay it transfered me to paypal and I got "Paypal could not enter the buyers address information because your accounts are not linked" NO ISH, of course their not linked!

So would it be safer then to remove the address that was suspended, even though I never use that address anymore? I guess it would be better safe than sorry, but I'm thinking that maybe I am linked right now (and therefore qualified to bid on those auctions that require it) but as long as I don't actually USE that particular email address to make the payment, shouldn't you be alright? Kind of the best of both worlds?

Anyone have an answer to my last question? Is it better to remove that name at this point or since it hasn't caused any problems so far should it be safe (even good) that it's there, allowing me to bid on the auctions that require linked accounts? Still don't have a definitive answer. Thanks

Actually I have found that they can't be removed permantly...

Because if you go to your activity on the homepage and click on sort acitvity by payments received or sent, all the emails you ever used shows up even though you deleted them..

That's troubling...wouldn't that indicate that ebay and paypal are beginning to form a more close relationship and of course that would mean it would be that much easier to watch for and suspend accounts?
