eBay hasn't a hope in hell of ever becoming like Amazon. The products and pricing are simply not the same. Whether they like it or not eBay is a place for cheap crap. And they did it to themselves. Half the sellers that used to sell quality goods on there are long gone. Either forced out by crappy rules, or feedback issues, or cant compete with China or just booted out
With eBay giving huge sellers top priority to sell their junk, and get away with almost anything, the smaller sellers couldn't compete. I buy cheap stuff off there all the time. Its the first place I go if I want something and I dont care about brand name. But I dont go on there looking for quality goods...
Its worse now then it was a couple years ago and it will only get worse. They are not going to boot all the mega sellers and their junk to bring back quality sellers. So they should just give up that absurd dream of being like Amazon. |
