Default Relisting an item on eBay

When you relist an item on eBay does it go back to it's previous position on the listing pages. Like if it was on the first page does it start off there again?

no, it will be on for the amount of days you have listed it for, eg, 7 days on auction format..

Yep got that bit. I mean if the item has been on the first page for 30 days, when I relist it will it go straight back on to the first page?

sorry dont follow, it depends on what search buyer does, it usually defaults as best match otherwise it would be lowest price for example....
