It's possible to call eBay with a different number?
 

I am using an account with a girl's name. I need to call eBay for an issue. Should I call eBay with a different number? What if eBay find out if I am a man, not a girl?

You should always call from the number you have on file. And you have to be prepared because sometimes they call YOU. And I would do live chat over a phone call any day of the week.

If it's a chick account, I wouldn't have a dude call. You can't give them a reason to be suspicious and want to dig more. They've heard all the stories by now, and some times even the true/good ones don't fly.

Some will argue, but a female account isn't any stronger. Adding extra crap to have to skirt when there is already enough is just adding to trouble.

I know there is a theory that girls are less likely to scam so ebay gives them a pass. Hogwash

In any case, you are going to either avoid phone altogether or get a girl to call. Its not wise to call from another number, but not sure if its instant death either.

Get a woman to call and have her tell eBay that she wants her husband to talk them regarding her account. They will allow that.

If you have a chicks name..tell them no that it is a guys name. Just like Jaime it's a boys and girls name. They can not discriminate if your Loving parents made a mistake and confused you with your sister. Employment can not ask discriminating questions. Or like the last name Smith..sounds like a guys name but, its for both male and female. Tell them you have weired parents from a weired country in a weired planet. Seriously, they can not discriminate.

if its a name that can probably be both a girls and a guys name like Jaime like mallshop said, go to account then go to personal information at the bottom you can enter a gender.
