I thought it was funny when Meg tried to go into another country who has different cultural values and take over. I was glad to see Taobao.com slapped ebay away. Interesting now that Donahoe is trying to build a relationship with Jack Ma.
One thing that does suck from a USA sellers stand point is that it's becoming increasingly hard to find legitimate niches in which you are not competing with Chinese sellers. It's very hard to out beat the manufacturer, unless you spin it "Shipped from USA" etc..
It's sad enough that we have outsourced much of our manufacturing. But in turn, some of us have created businesses that are good for our economy.
It's sad to see many US sellers squeezed out by Chinese sellers. I honestly wish ebay could control that a little more.
