Ebay ID Verify-Gift Card?

I haven't had to do this on my pst few stealth accounts. Before finishing creating the account, they want a card on file.

Do I just get a gift card from the gas station?
I had to change my email for activation, because I didn't spell it right, was it a trigger?

If so, do the same as you do when making a sellers account, I assume you are going to make this account a sellers account anyhow.

Just get a VCC from the markerplace. You already know the deal.

It's a sellers account. I just thought it was odd because I didn't have to do this before, just the phone 4 digit thing.

If you use a gift card I believe it won't go thru. I had this before and the giftcard are not accepted anymore. What I done in the past just linked paypal with ebay and it was all good but thats was couple of months ago.

Don't know if it has changed since I haven't open anything recently...

All depends on the gift card - visa ones tend to be good.

I always link my Paypal, and use it for backup/reimbursement, but I can't even complete the registration to get to that point.

That's why I was wondering if this was new, because I haven't had to do this on previous accounts.

I have had this happen before. Normally due to something you have used being used before, either by you or someone else.
