I too have been struck with the old ass plug of losing my ebay id...prolly about half a dozen times....back in the day i had more sunglasses that Stevie Wonder....anyhow heres my question, i have a paypal acct from back in 2002, i had an old bank acct attached to it and eventually closed the bank acct but everything stayed in good standings, got a whopping 2 rating on the paypal acct..lol...it has NEVER been linked to an ebay acct or anything of that nature....i just added a new checking acct to it and am waiting for the 2 small deposits, will add a pre paid CC to it with the exact addy on the card...by verifying the cc and bank acct, i dont plan on using it for ebay just for various payments from various customers i do business with, do you think ill have any problems with it ??? since its not a NEW acct and has been in good standing just dormant ???i also have an ebay acct from 2001, i emailed ebay and asked about it and i owe 20.00 in fees, they say once paid im auto reinstated, what do yall think ??? i had another paypal addy a while back maybe over a year ago, went down due to losing ebay acct....think im ok ?? or what do yall recommend ??? thanks guys !!!

I use dormant accounts ranging from 1 month to 3 months all the time and yet need to have one limited or restricted, so go ahead. Just build it up slowly. Don't sell 10k on it right on the first day.

no no, i mean i deal with a few customers, sometimes 300.00 sometimes 2400.00 ......u think ill have any problems, ill be withdrawing to my legit bank acct and stuff ???? lke hes sending over 700.00 payable as a "service" if i withdraw 500.00 and leave 200.00 in my acct u think ill be ok ??? i mean hell the ****ing acct is over 5 yrs old.....no negativity......no ebay either.....wha cha think

Man I sure wouldn't want to run that kind of money through PP if nothing else for the cut they take.

I have heard if you call them and let them know you will be recieveing large amounts and they know before hand you might have a better chance at running that kind of cash thru...

Ebay should reinstate you after you pay them but ive heard sometimes they suspend you again right away and ask for more verification...

I love when they say you are suspended because your account is past due and then you pay them and they immeadiately NARU you. No wonder I don't feel bad about hitting and running on them now. They own foolishness will cost them, not me :))

Yeah, no kidding! It's like they don't know their own reputation precedes them. :D

UKEBAY-- I did not notice that you mentioned what pc you were using/ ip address? What I mean is--how will you be certain you will not be linked to that recently naru acct?
-- Doesnt matter if a $10 sale, goes into ppal, if ebay gets axe- and its linked-- the ppal will go down...
--YOUR PC needs to be cleaned out-all cookis, etc.. and the items must be coming from ebay ads.. are your pics new,,, Have you have followed aspkins guide?

i have NEVER had this paypal acct linked to an ebay acct, it was used as i do airbrushing, some customers send me their helmets, farings, gas tanks etc, i air brush the items and sometimes they want to pay with paypal....the acct has NEVER been linked to any ebay account, it was simply a stand alone paypal acct....payments range from 200.00- 1200.00-2400.00 for a full faring set.....you think i should call paypal and act dumb and ask questions about limits on withdrawing, etc, even though im verified ??? lemme know what yall think, i also AM NOT going to be adding this paypal to any ebay acct, just a fyi...thanks

If its NEVER been used for EBAY at all, then DO NOT ever log into it, from ANY PC that has been banned by EBAY>>>

--IF youve used it on the street only-- then I wouldnt ask about limitations, I would politely tell them you are expecting to expand your business, and thinking about upgrading to a business premiere acct,

This brings up the question of can ebay track by hardware serials (or similar)rather than cookies, IP's, etc? Seems to me that would be hard to do unnoticed.
