making a new ebay account - advice needed
 

Hi all,

i am in the process of making a new ebay account as have been previously suspended.

So far i have done the following:

- new ip address
- new bank account
- made a new gmail account
- made a new ebay account (have entered incorrect contact details - name / address / contact number)
- made new paypal account (used a different (⊗⊗⊗⊗) address / contact details to the ones i entered in ebay)

My account has been on 'sleep' for 2 weeks now. I plan on buying small household items in the coming week or two.

I have a couple of question:
- is there anythinhg major i have done wrong / missing?
- should i go to paypal and ebay after a week of buying and enter my correct contact details (they are the same as have been on a banned account, or is this a big no no?)
- should i keep the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address and name, but correct my contact number?

Ok I have read through your thread - few issues arise:

incorrect contact details - does your contact number work? I mean - if they want to call you, can they reach you? I always recommend a working phone number.

DO NOT CHANGE YOUR DETAILS ON PP/EB - especially if your previous info was suspended...MY recommendation = get the stealth guide to understand the issue. Remember: out with the old, in with the new - don't change back. Big no no

Correct your contact number yes.

Small household items is a good way to build buyer feedback.

Can i change my contact number even though it was on the banned account?
Why do i need a contact number? what details will they ask for when they ring?

Banned account number - if you use - you will be linked and terminated...maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but it's a risk.
