Let's revise the if it's worth it to be a power seller
 

Last time we determined that being a power seller was not worth it.


Then this happened Fees 2008 Overview


If you are a PowerSeller and all four of your detailed seller ratings (DSRs) for the past 30 day period are 4.6 or higher, you qualify for a 5% discount on Final Value Fees

If you are a PowerSeller and all four of your detailed seller ratings (DSRs) for the past 30 day period are 4.8 or higher, you qualify for a 15% discount on Final Value Fees

Power sellers also get all their ebay extras refunded for non paying bidders. If course now if you give a buyer an unpaid strike they will be guaranteed to leave you a negative no matter what.



So does this make power seller worth it now?

JOnas-- the BIGGEST reason, i enjoyed being a ps, was the number of hits you could take,, and this was a GUARANTEED..
So, you knew where you stood..
i.e. if my acct qualified for 6 warnings, and i already had 5, i would move the hot items (not illegal or ⊗⊗⊗⊗, but well watched)-after oct last year-- you got the red messages for a bottle of Montblanc ink..to another ps acct...
So, for me, i liked knowing.. (now, its like running through a mine field)..

If you sell Vero or questionable items, you want powerseller because you get many more warnings before suspension.

PLUS.. I hate to be the Lone supporter here, BUT..
a.) I can list the EXACT item, as i do now, with a fb of 20, 30, even 100--and get maybe $24-$30 for it..
b.) THE VERY SAME ITEM,,, when I had the PS logo, and 3,000 fb,,, it fetched $60-$80, and you know what-- VERY VERY seldom was there any questions like.. warranty,, authenticity, etc.
(just my thoughts) :)

BTW- my Very 1st suspension/ slap from ebay was about 3 years ago-- they took my ps status for 30 days...
--It was terrible...
-- My sales DROPPED!
-- I had to be weened off... (if anyone else knows what i mean??)--
--Like they took my cigs away for 30 days..
