What happens if i dont reimburse ebay after a case
 

Hey guys

Quick question.I made my wife a Ebay account and she sold her Iphone for 500$ She shipped it got paid and used the money.She didnt use her account for months and when she opens it up again it says that the buyer of the phone opened up a case and its closed in the buyers favor and that ebay has refunded him and she now has to reimburse ebay for the 500$ What will ebay do if she doesnt reimburse them?

If the account is in your wife's real name, and you don't pay ebay the money that they reimbursed to the buyer, they will most likely send her information to a collection agency. This is what happened to me.

Come on. Send me a pm with the ebay ID of the account. I'm not into enabling cheats today. If it's all kosher, you get help. Simples. :peace:

So where's phone? Buyer keeps a $500 phone without sending it back? Did you not get any emails?

Sounds like a crappy situation to be in. Sucks... Shame the account wasn't stealth.

My wife gave the buyer tracking but not ebay or paypal.and it was months after before she knew there was a case.The Account was stealth but i have never left a debt like that.And Ebay wont help me is what i hear so.Just wanna know the outcome .Since it was stealth and after it goes to collections and they cant locate my wife then what? just worried it could come back and bite her.

If the account was completely stealth info your safe. If you have a bank account or cc on file, remove them and close them both.

If its all bogus info head over the wall. I assume the phone was ok, so buyer is just a thief anyway... Like Lakeman says, make sure card and bank or closed.

I've had that same thing happen to me, but only for $70.00. I figured I would ignore it because I knew the buyer was just trying to get free stuff.

Everything was good and they seemed to forget about it until one day a few months later I got reminded again. At this point I was using eBay a lot and didn't want to get banned or something, so I just payed up.

So you may have to pay up eventually, but there is definitely no rush :)

Not if the info is stealth. No a real lot they can do. I'm not one for dodging responsibility.

yeah exactly...If she was responsable for the debt id tell her to just pay it off.But when its some guy that just wants a free phone id rather not...i just dont want it to come back to her if she leaves it.....

it will comeback to whoever's name the ebay account is in..

if she gave her real info and birthdate etc.

Collections will get her within 6 months, and youll know it is them, they will call you at 821am like clockwork

Tip to all NOOBS, if you have ANY...i mean ANY personal/real info attached to your ebay/pp and it goes in the red....you are getting a collection agency on yo ASS!

Just another reason to use stealth...even if you WEREN'T KICKED OFF!

what those collection agency(IC...)can/will do?i mean they r calling every day but im just answering that person they calling to is out of the contry and non us citizen..what they gonna do?=}-

Yeah thats pretty much all they do call till you budge and pay.
