Ebay Acc using a friend?
 

Hi,

Been reading for a while, and now after having numerous accounts closed, have decided to start posting.

I have a plan, and want to put it to you guys and see if it would work?

The plan:

I intend to get a friend to open an ebay account in his name and his details, but he will be selling my item. I sell 1 item only on ebay and there are only a few of us selling this item.

Would ebay pick up on the item? (I can take new photos and reword the auction)

Also i would never log on to the account on my own pc but would get him to do the listings (relist) and maybe forward the sales onto my email?

What would be the best options in regards of payments? Should i look into a different checkout system? Or could i get my friend to open a paypal account, using all his details, but.. if he put in an account of mine to send money to, would this get traced back?

They shouldn't pick up on it just from that, but be sure not to sell too many items too quickly. They'll get you for "abusing ebay".

I only sell one item at a time, so that shouldnt be a problem.

Will most probably go through the checkout system as described in other threads. I guess i could do all the email stuff my end, or does that get traced. (even if i never log on to the ebay account at my pc?)

If your friend opens a Paypal account with your Banking details, that'll link accounts. You'll need to either use another merchant account. Google Checkout might work for you. Or open a new Bank account to accept payments to. ING.com savings accounts can be open in under 5mins, you get the checking and routing pretty fast.
