Is Paypal neccecary for good sales?

Hello Forum Members,

i am planing to start my business on ebay again after getting banned and after paypal froze my money for 180 days.

my ebay account has like 100 feedback and in this case i dont need to accept paypal anymore. i am selling goods on ebay germany.

so do you think people will buy less from me when i dont accept paypal?
i am selling electronic goods, selling price like 80-100 usd.

thanks you in advance

how are you taking payments at the moment?
paypal is topdog worldwide but im sure if buyers want your items bad enough they will pay however you want

Are you using a Stealth Account, or Real Info? If so can't you use a merchant account instead, and if not maybe you should use a stealth paypal account instead because bank transfers just spell out S.C.A.M if you ask me, but thats just my opinion, and no i'm not calling you a scam artist, thats just what some customers see when sellers don't accept paypal.

the thing is i can. but i dont want that too much money comes in on paypal.

i have a few stealth accounts. maybe i can try it with those.

but some people just dont like paypal and dont have paypal.

and for all people who might think im a scam i can say that i had a bad experience with them and that i also accept cash on delivery or they can pick up the goods personaly.

i find it to difficult with a merchant account becouse each time i have to send a invoice. on top of that i dont know what to write on ebay what my paypal adress is..

I'm against paypal just as much as you are, I say do whatever makes you happy, and whatever payment method you feel comfortable with on ebay, as long as it doesn't draw you any attention. Good Luck!!!! Make your Money!!!! Tis the Season to be Jolly!!!!

Unless you selling items with little competition, I'd advise you use PayPal cause if you don't then buyers will just go buy it from the guy who is accepting PayPal. So your missing out on sales.

I agree with 123, having that "accept paypal" logo on your list helps A LOT. Your going to be limiting yourself without it.
