Default Ebay Verrification fail...

She tried to ask me questions about a drivers license on a stealth.

My first answer.... uhhh no? sarcastically
My height.... no multiple choice. i said my height and it was none of the ones listed and then she listed the ones it could be.. and i said uhhh are you pulling this information off spokeo? Because it's none of those, it's 5'8 like i said... she laughed a little and said ok i'll go onto the next one.. and gave another question which i sarcastically said yeah it's none of those.

"ok we'll remove the limitation off the ebay account, you can go ahead and relist the items"

Yeah, same happened to me. I think one of the questions actually pertained to me, but I just kept saying "none of those" and I was reinstated.

Yeah, made a stealth this week, listed a regular book (as opposed to my normal VERO). Immediately had my listing taken down and MC010.

Called, answered none of the above, and got my account reinstated.

That's why you're getting suspended. You opened the account and listed a week after.

i agree. i never talked to an ebay agent in 10 years.. if you ever have to call and verify anything, you not doing something right, and youre bound to be suspended..

I'd say it depends what you sell. Post-phonecall accounts are tougher, allowing you to list more without worrying about suspensions.

listen if you have to call ebay to verify identity or anything in that sense, EBAY already knows you're a bull****ter, who cares if you get reinstated at that point, to them you're still a liar.

if you have to phone ebay about a account you created, you did'nt create it right,, forget the multiple choice and trying.. just scratch it..

NICE Try,

I have to disagree with you. Ebay are doing the phone verification with you on every new account, even if you wait 3 months before selling. I open 5 accounts per week and turn them into seller account immediately (albeit with low volume low price items). eventually when they ask for verification, I do what the others do and say "none of the above" works 50% of the time. The other 50% i just send in the usually documents and they re-instate those accounts about 75% of the time. Overally not a bad ratio

limey, no they are not doing it to all new accounts, there are some better ways of setting up accounts and starting to list than others.

they defintely dont need you to call in and verify if its a new account done right..

thats why most members on here need to know how to make 100's of stealths, they cant figure it out.. im on the same 2 accounts i made..

sure i make over 100 a week for friends but there is no need to call and verify any info.. ever, if it is done correctly..

if you need to call ebay and verify your identity and answer questions...

you need to figure out what you are doing wrong....

This is sort of on topic to what limey said before, and I am unsure about it....because I`m new :P

When making stealth seller accounts, are you supposed to make them into seller accounts right away, and then let them age? Or are you supposed to let them age first, then make them into seller accounts.

Also, does the "aging" process begin as soon as the account is created at all, or does it begin once it is verified?

Thanks!

I have 3 eBay Stealth accounts and they all made it fine through the first month. When I created them, I turned them into seller accounts right away, listed one by one, and did not pass my limit (10). I still have 3 more stealth accounts that I haven't touched yet, because I cannot handle all these accounts as I already have 3 amazon accounts that have done very well without a review... Why? because I learned my lesson and sold slowly but steadily.
