New accounts automatic limit???

Are all new accounts on Ebay being limited to $500/10 items or is it just some accounts?

imjustme 12-05-2010 03:32 PM

All of them.

museman 12-05-2010 04:52 PM

One of the four I just made has no selling limit I've done 20 items so far totaling around $600

Edit: I'm not pressing my luck any further tho, that's it for the month but there is no limit yet.

This is totally unbelievable that ebay sets limits for US account too. What's the fun with the account that only can sell 10 items per month?

I have an ebay seller's account that's more than one year old and has the $500/10 limit on it. This account has five feedback from buying items. It has no seller feeback.

shogun1 12-06-2010 01:12 PM

i find it hard to imagine this lasting past the quarter stock reports when they show how much of a loss they took, shareholders wont like the new numbers, hopefully someone gets fired for this

lagoonclub 12-06-2010 01:15 PM

Shogun, I was thinking the EXACT same thing.

So make 5 stealth accounts and magically your selling limit is now $2500/50 items! ;)

The fact is, they lose more money from people that blitz accounts and dump them. It's called bad debt.

haha... aking, i've been saying that since this started.

Yep, the limits start from when you listed you first item.

REMEMBER FOLKS!

The whole point of stealth is to get around ALMOST everything eBay/PP through at you.

Got a selling limit? Make 10 more accounts. BOOM!

First Edition 12-06-2010 09:31 PM

Not to advertise my account creation services... but I've been selling lots of bulk specials lately. Everyone now wants a ten account package because of these selling limits.

Thats the root of all our eBay and PayPal woes. If people got what they paid for and ebay and PayPal rarely got stuck with any problems we wouldn't have most of the problems we have. They actually make more money when we do. but they are hammered with ripoff artists. They are just protecting themselves from scum and we get caught in the crossfire....

Amen to that brother!

Feel like sometimes we are just collateral damage!

BOOM! Word of the day there!
