About the postmaster collect fee....
 

I just got my one package from china by USPS service .
There was a red ticket "postmaster collect fee " on the package.
But the postman forgot to ask me for the fee (usually I need write a check for him )

My questions : Do I need write a check to customs by myself or just got lucky ?

I think you will still have to pay it.

I don't actually know, but I'm pretty sure USPS will just see that the fee is unpaid, and they won't know/care if the guy didn't ask for it.

I had this happen also one time when I picked up a package in person at the local post office. I didn't say anything to the person and they just let me take it. That has been over a year ago and haven't heard a word since!

I know when fedex or UPS forget they mail a bill. Not sure on the post office end. I would just wait and see if you get a bill. If not, bonus

One person got the ticket , but he gave the postman $20 as *** , then customs got nothing ..
