Starting off slow question.
 

So what really is the point of starting off slow? Is it just to avoid the MC010? Or is it something else?

I don't see the point in starting off slow. I listed highly risky items yesterday on a stealth I created last night. I sold 1/2 of the items. Also I don't see the point in trying to avoid the MC010 since it's very easy to lift it. Sometimes I TRY to get the MC010 and get it over with.

But over all "Slow and easy wins the race" If you start slow and move up over time your account/s may last longer.

But personally... I list ASAP lol

Thats what I just did right now. Just called eBay and had it lifted. It was a stealth account. I put a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address down but the guy knew the place. He grew up in the town I listed. luckily I did to so we were conversating about it. But yeah it was lifted and now I can list.
